Agalla de puntos verdes en el cacao de Venezuela y Costa Rica
Abstract
Tests were made in Costa Rica and Venezuela to determine the cause of green cushion gall of cacao. Results gave evidence that primary and secondary galls in young plants can be reproduced by inoculation of the seeds with isolates of Fusarium decemcellulare, the imperfect stage of Calonectria rigidiuscula, that there is no difference in pathogenicity or in symptoms produced by isolates from the two countries, and that the same fungus can be re-isolated from these galls.
