Tubería plástica para riego subterráneo
Abstract
The use of buried plastic pipe for irrigation represents the newest idea in water application since sprinklers Subsurface irrigation can provide water savings equivalent to those attained under sprinkler irrigation Two years of study show no significant difference in either the quantity of water required nor the quality of common Bermuda grass growth.
Model studies were undertaken to describe the water movement pattern away from the buried pipe The exponential relation of water movement and time suggests a general basis for designing depth and spacing for any particular crop situation.
Additional subirrigation trials for citrus and alfalfa seed research point out additional specialized applications
