Diferencias fisiológicas entre cepas de Phytophthora palmivora aisladas del fruto, cojín floral y hojas de cacao
Abstract
Strain of Phytophthora palmivora (Butl.) Butl. isolated from pods, cushions and leaves of cacao (Theobroma cacao L.) grown in culture medium (cacao exudate, oats, agar and water, 5:2:2:100) as well as in cacao pods, have shown striking physiological differences in growth rate. The authors believe that these differences are the result of an adaptation of the fungus to the different tissues of the host plant.
