Método para la determinación de feofitina en extractos cromogénicos de heces y pastos

Abstract

A rapid and simple procedure is described for the determination of pheophytin in a large number of samples. The technique is a combination and modification of different methods used to determine pigments (chromogens) from feces and pasture. Pheophytin was expressed as the reading of optical density at 415 mµ, and digestibility estimations were based on the relation of units of pheophytin in Pasture/units of pheophytin in feces.
