Efecto de varios volúmenes totales y frecuencias de riego en el cultivo del maíz (Zea mays), en la costa central del Perú
Abstract
A study was made to determine the effect of three different irrigation frequencies using three different total volumes of water with respect to corn yield. This study was carried out on a sandy-loam soil, under normal climatic conditions for the Peruvian Central Coast valleys, at La Molina Experiment Station, Lima. A split-plot design was used in this experiment. There were no significant statistical differences among the treatments with respect to grain weight, cob weight or percentage of grain per cob. There were statistical differences with respect to the number of ears per plot.
