Parques nacionales: su filosofía y necesidades nacionales

Abstract

The justification is presented of a national parks policy from the points of view of national, touristic and scientific interest. Possible sources of international support for the setting up of national parks are examined. Priorities in the selection of apparent sites and of critical places are discussed. The need of taking into account the problems of conservation of soil, water and natural life, as well as the need for trained conservationists in management experts, is emphasized
