Ataque de Phytophthora palmivora a Macadamia en Costa Rica
Abstract
It has been determined for the first time that leaves of Macadamia integrifolia Maiden & Betche seedlings, growing under diseased cocoa and Hevea trees are susceptible to attack by Phytophthora palmivora Butler.
Pathogenicity was proved by reproducing the disease on Macadamia leaves using inoculum obtained from diseased leaves of macadamia and from diseased pods of cocoa.
