Requerimientos edáficos y climáticos para Pinus caribaea var hondurensis Barr. y Golf.

Abstract

This paper deals with climatic requirements of Pinus caribaea var hondurensis for optimun growth. A survey was made of climatic and edaphic conditions of the species in its natural habitat as well as in places of introduction. Using Thornthwaite´s method of establishing monthly water balances, thermic and hydric limits were determined for the species.
