Radiosensibilidad del grano de polen de tomate cultivado en soluciones nutritivas
Abstract
Pollen grain culture in an appropriate nutritive media is of importance because it gives the possibility to produce haploid plants, that will show better the presence and frequence of mutants.
This work tries to prove the effect of gamma radiation on the androgenic callus formation of tomato in vi ro on an appropiate semisolid media and determien the LDso that could help to induce genic mutations and perhaps the production of haploid tomato mutant plants.
In accordance to the culture media (Sharp) and the process used, the androgenic calluses had a good growth and there was an answer to gamma radiation , the LDso found was 3 Krad.
