Caracterización morfométrica de cuatro poblaciones de Meloidogyne incognita de Costa Rica
Abstract
Four Meloidogyne incognita populations (M-50, M-53, M-55 and M-56) collected from different areas of Costa Rica were characterized morphometrically. Significant differences among them were found in tail length, anal body diameter and distance between the dorsal esophageal gland orifice and the base of the telorhabdions (DEGO) ef second stage larvae, total length, maximun body width and length of spicules (chord of arch) of males, and DEGO and interphasmidial distance of females. In population M-50 and M-53, 35 and 15% of males, respectively, did not have areolated lateral fields. The shape and other characteristics of the female perineal patterns were similar in all four populations.
