Modelación hidrológica distribuida de la subcuenca del Río Manchaguala para determinar la oferta y demanda hídrica actual y futura de la Comunidad de Cofradía, Municipio de San Pedro Sula, Departamento de Cortés, Honduras

Abstract

En el presente estudio detalla los procedimientos y resultados de los modelos espaciales generados y la caracterización morfométrica obtenida a través de software SIG (Sistemas de Información Geográfica) y el análisis de coberturas de información vectorial y ráster o capas de información espacial, que fueron obtenidas de fuentes oficiales y describen la complejidad del paisaje, ya que representan las variables determinantes en el análisis. Esta información permite a través de su manipulación, generar resultados para diversos escenarios donde se pueda identificar respuestas positivas o negativas en el territorio, con respecto a la capacidad de Producción Agua, Oferta hídrica, con base en esto se procesó la información para identificar la condición actual del territorio

In the present study, the procedures and results of the spatial models generated and the morphometric characterization obtained through GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software and the analysis of vector and raster information coverage or layers of spatial information, which were obtained from official sources and describe the complexity of the landscape, since they represent the determining variables in the analysis. This information allows, through its manipulation, to generate results for various scenarios where positive or negative responses can be identified in the territory, with respect to the capacity of Water Production, Water Supply, based on this, the information was processed to identify the condition current of the territory.
