El estudio se realizó con productores que participan del proyecto CATIE/NORUEGA -Pasturas Degradadas en la zona piloto de El Chal (Petén, Guatemala), localizada entre los 89° 30’ y 89° 45’ de longitud oeste y entre los 16° 35’ The study was carried out with producers who participate as partners of the CATIE/NORUEGA - Degraded Pastures project in the El Chal pilot zone , (Petén, Guatemala), which is located between 89° 30’ and 89° 45’ West longitude, and between 16° 35’ and 16° 46’North latitude, and ecologically is classified as belonging to the Humid Tropical Forest Life Zone. A complete block split-plot in time experimental design, with two treatments and five samples (cows) per period was used. Also, grass CP content was higher when pasture was grown with leucaena, and the difference was more evident during the dry season and the beginning of the rainy season. | es_ES |
