Examination of Raphia taedigera communities has shown that they are important in lowland succession. These communities were studied using the ecological methods of line transects for vegetation shorter than trees and the quarter method for dominant trees. Based on quantitative data, the authors propose that the Raphia taedigera community is a stage in lowland succession.es_ES
