dc.description.abstractHeritabily, genetic advance, and phenotypic and genotypic correlation coefficients calenlated for gain yield and six chamicteis associated with grain yield were taken as selection criteria to improve grain yield in two groups of dry beans. From the results 4 appeared that grain yield in 1be bean lines studied control be improved by selecting to the highest number of pods/planm, muniber of grains; pod, and number of nodes/plant In some cases selection on that basis would also imply selecting plants with the largest main stem diameter and longest pods.es_ES
