This is the first record of Ravenelia lagerheimiana Diet. on seedlings of Enterolobium cyclocarpum (Jacq.) Gris. Germinated in the field and transplanted to greenhouse conditions. Pictures and descriptions of uredosori and spermogonia growing on seedling shoots are shown. The paper reports also the unpublished record of Ravenelia havanensis Arthur in the same host. Preliminary observations indicate that R. lagerheimiana can be controlled by the use of fungicides such as fermate.es_ES
