The Agricultural Training Project activities are focused within a conceptual framework which contemplates specific thematic areas of agricultural, animal and forestry production directed toward the renewal and complementation of the necessary skills for the national institution technicians’ work related to agroforestry development. Considering the problems presented in agricultural development, a total of 8 seminars and workshops have been carried out with the participation of 270 technicians who worked and researched in the areas of perennial crops, agricultural production, meat cattle, and wildlands management. In these events a specific problem was analyzed, creating alternatives for its solution. This project has been using the philosophy of “learning by doing”; within this aspect a diversity of in-service trainings were designed, in which the participants confront and find solutions to real problems.
