Enfermedad del cacao "Mal de Machete" provocada por Ceratocystis fimbriata en la República Dominicana
Abstract
Cacao canker incited by Ceratocystis fimbriata is reported here from the Dominican Republic, where it causes severe infections in older and some new plantations. The identification of the pathogen is here confirmed. Symptoms are described and the importance and distribution of the disease are given. Control measures of cacao anker under conditions of the Dominican Republic are suggested
