Estudio preliminar con el nematicida Vydate L. aplicado al follaje del banano Cavendish Gigante (Musa acuminata AAA.)

Abstract

This work was carried out in the area of Guápiles, Costa Rica, in an effort to obtain a more effective control of Radopholus similis on bananas. For that purpose, aerial spray applications were made using a sistematic nematicide. A paunee aircraft was used in applications of Oxamyl or Vydate L. at dosages of 0,70 0,90 and 1,10 kg active ingredient per hectare. Five applications were made in total at 33 days intervals.
