Analysis of dairy cow records in a humid tropical environment
Abstract
The paper analyzes the record of dairy cows in a tropical environment and highlights the adaptability of crosses between Criollo and Jersey, as well as the productivity of these hybrids compared to other less fortunate crosses. The importance of management practices and genetics in improving dairy performance in this specific context is emphasized. In addition, it is mentioned how the use of different breeds can affect the quality and yield of milk production under tropical conditions.
