Determinación de los períodos global y crítico de competencia de las malezas con arroz (Oryza sativa L. Inti) de transplante.
Alternative title
Determination of overall and critical periods of weed competition with transplanted rice (Oryza sativa L. Inti).
Abstract
This research work was developed at Lambayeque, Peril. The main aims were to determine weed population, to study their effects on the yield components and to determine the global and critical competition period during sowing and transplantation.
Nine treatments were evaluated (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 80 days with weeds after transplantation and one during the whole crop period). Also, nine weed-clean treatments were evaluated in the number of days as for weed treatments.
The experiment was conducted under a completely randomized four black design.
The results show that in the rice crop (cultivar the most competitive weeds were: Echinochloa crusgalli, E colonum, Leptochloa uninervia, Eclipta alba, Ammania coccinea, Cyperus esculentus, Eleocharis geniculata y Cyperus difformis.
IVhen the rice crop was infested with weed during its whole cycle the rice yield loss was 78.38%.
The global competition period starded in the 11th day and ended in the 80th day after transplanting and the critical competition period started in the 30th day and finished in the 70th day after transplanting.
