Tablas de volumen para Pinus caribaea var. hondurensis en la Reserva Forestal La Yeguada, Panamá.

Abstract

This work contains volume tables for Pinus caribaca vat. hondurensis located in La Yeguada Forestry Reserve, Panama The tables were calculated for total volume and lltirltir mii top diameters of 5 and 10 cm for trees with and without bark. A sample of 105 trees between 7 and 13 years old was selected from 14 different sites in the Reserve. DBH ranged front 9-3.5 cm and heights from 5-20 m Among 15 mathematical models were tested. The model In v = In d + In h, showed the highest correlation coefficients and lowest Furnival Index fables.
