Database management applications in forestry research

Abstract

This book is product of a workshop that was designed to provide people interested and/or working in MPTS data bases with and overview of the MIRA data base. It also provided an opportunity to get updated information on other efforts in this area. For this purpose, key people by invitation prepared papers on selected topics. It is hoped that this workshop has raised the awareness of donors to the need for expanded networks.
