A project for the identification of arthropods present in stored Guadua angustifolia (Bambusoideae: Gramineae). Segments of G. angustifolia were stored for 10 months, after being treated with one of the following injection, immersion, smoke, boucherie + pyroligneous acid, boucherie + boric acid + borax, and a control. Foru to five pieces per treatment were randomly selected to collect the arthropods found in them. Thirteen species from five orders and 10 families were identified. Foretic mites of the Macrochelidae family were also found in association with D. minutus. In 65 percent of the samples, the population levels of D. minutus were low, present mainly in G. angustifolia treated with injection and immersion with a solution of borax and boric acid. Attacks did not develop, due to the preservation treatments. In the control treatment there was a 90 percent presence of insects, with an average of more than 50 individuals.es_ES
