Presence of viruses in Bolivian potatoes
Abstract
The presence of the most common viruses in potatoes was determined in forms cultivated by indigenous peoples of Bolivia. The diagnosis of the viruses was carried out both by readings in indicator plants and by serological means. The reactions of the different indicator plants, as well as the potato plants themselves, showed the existence of dense races of some groups. The potato virus Aucuba was present in two varieties.
